The text I will writing about is Medical apartheid By Harriet T Washington thesis: Black women are treated so poorly espically with in the health care system.

In this essay I hope to open every ones eyes to the problem that no one seems to talk about or notice. The points I want to adress is how hospitals need to take better care of Black women their have been numerous events where a African American woman has went into the hospital and was told that she wasn’t a priority couple seconds later she died  the health care system has been failing African women through history their have been articles written about it  but their is no action and the problem is being ignored.  I was desired to do this research because I am a African American women and we have been mistreated for years  and it’s still happening Black women have done so much through out history their is so much historical women like Sojourner truth, Harriet Tubman and Maya Angelou and this society treats us as if we don’t even matter and now they are trying to kill us off. I Wrote this thesis to give my readers a idea of what I am going to be talking about my thesis is important because it  gives you insight  of the issue I will be adressing. I plan to explore the statement in my research by  sugar coding anything and my evidence and opinions will be clear and uncut because I am a Black Women and I know how it feels to be mistreated because of the color of our skin.

The text that my upcoming analytical research paper will be based on is the Gettysburg address. In this paper I plan on pointing out the importance of the address to the United States of America. The address took place after the civil war in which President Lincoln spoke at the Soldiers National Cemetery. The address brought a great impact on the future of the United States and the people living in America. The purpose of the address was to provide a plan on preserving the equality of not only those living in the North/Union but of all people throughout America. I wanted to research this text because of its historical significance. Without us winning the civil war and the Gettysburg address being written, we might be living in a very different society. Our country if not for these events could still be a land driven on racism and profiting off of the work of African Americans. This address serves great value to the society we are today and will be in the future. I plan on explaining the statement of how valuable the address is by citing multiple historical text proving Lincolns impact through out the speech.

In the future, I will be critically analyzing one of Eminem’s songs, Darkness, from his 2020 album, Music to be Murdered By. The song is controversial, as it tells the story of depression, suicide, gun violence, and possible alcohol abuse. There are numerous reasons why I chose this song. For starters, it is one of my favorite songs. The reason it is one of my favorite songs because it highlights a very serious issue that the United States has today. When that song came out, there were mass shootings happening from all over the country. The way this song is told, it puts us in the point of view of the shooter. Looking at the lens of a shooter, it is quite interesting to see, because usually artists would write songs as a victim. So far, I haven’t found the right thesis to use for my 3rd essay, but it should be along the lines of, the United States needs to urgently address gun violence. Sometimes, depression could lead to school shooters/local shooters, which then leads to suicide, or getting shot by the police. I plan to listen to the song numerous times, as well as look at the viewpoints of others to see how they react to the song. I want to see what conclusions they draw up, so that I can better understand the conclusion that I want to come up with. I’ll be looking for positive AND negative reviews about the song. Gun violence has long been overdue, it is time that the United States take action with this particular issue. Anything that I have said in this blog is subject to change.

The text that I will be writing about in my analytical research paper is a show called Naruto. Child neglect is something that is not shown much to people and is also very hard to prove because there are so many different forms of child neglect that a child can feel. This will lead to the child as an adult will have post-traumatic stress(PTSD), educational difficulties, low self-esteem, trouble forming and maintaining the relationship, and depression. We need to address the child neglect problem so that America and the rest of the world will have a reliable future.

In the show, a boy named Naruto suffers from child neglect since he has the nine tail fox, which had destroyed attacked the village and killed many people, sealed in him, and everyone treated as an outcast. Naruto was not the only person in the show who went through child neglect. There were also people like Kakashi and Gaara who also went through similar child neglect. This is something I felt like talking about in my essay because it is not a problem that many people will talk about, but in fact, a problem that we should see more since child neglect cases are rising every year as well as child abuse right next to it. Forms of neglect that are common factors are physical neglect, medical neglect, educational neglect, and emotional neglect that can be seen in today’s cases in America and also around the world. The leading cause for most children that get abuse is the fact that many of the parents are substance users, single parenting, or marital conflicts that break the house apart and leave the child in the middle. I believe if this problem can be brought to light then more people can speak out for children who are afraid to speak up for themselves.

The film I’ve decided to focus on throughout my analytical research paper is “Freedom Writers”. Essentially, the film portrays how unique students who attend the same high school share things in common despite the obvious. With the help of their teacher, the students found themselves as a person and created bonds with each other. Though I am a little unclear about what issue exactly I’d like to discuss yet, I know this will be a good option because there are several issues demonstrated in the film. For example, the corrupted education system can be a topic to indulge in or even the poverty and struggles of the students. However, despite either of the two ideas I choose I’d hope to accomplish proving the point that there are several ways to learn besides reading directly out of a textbook. Engaging with students and connecting to them can allow “unteachable” students to engage in class and become “teachable”. Essentially, the point out of that idea is to explore the issues with the education system and its negativity. While also, another option can be to dwell and analyze that though we all appear different from one another and come from different backgrounds, we may share similarities such as struggles and experiences. I’d also like to discuss how lots of times poverty plays a huge role in one’s development. This film inspired my want to further research because in just one film, there were so many ideas illustrated. I hope to explore these ideas in my paper by presenting stereotypes and also connecting it to other events or ideas which correlates.

I’m going to be using a youtube video called, ” I Just Sued The School System,” by Prince Ea. Thesis: After school being around for so long, the flaws of the school system have appeared to do more harm than good to students, especially today.

My goal for this essay is to address the flaws of the school system and how it affects students. I want to address how a teacher teaching the same thing the same way to multiple students can have a negative impact. I also want to address how important the job of a teacher is and how they’re not appreciated the way they should. I was inspired to do this topic because growing up, school came relatively easy for me. However, after I missed school for half a year after I fractured my leg and had to get surgery, I came back and everything was different. Trying to keep up in school became very difficult for me. No matter how much a teacher would try to explain to me stuff, it was still hard to understand. While some of my teachers tried to explain things to me to get me to understand, I had some teachers that kept going by the books and trying to show me the same way over and over again. I found this youtube video during my sophomore year and I instantly understood and resonated with the message of how all students are different, but the system is the same for every person. This thesis is important because I feel like I’m not the only one that’s gone through this and I feel like the school system does more harm than good. I plan on doing more research on how the school system has affected students both mentally and how it shaped their futures.

In my analytical research paper I will be analyzing Disney’s animated film, Cinderella. The way in which women are portrayed in the film, Cinderella, is problematic because it reinforces gender roles and suggests that women are only as valuable as their looks and marital status. In this essay I will examine how the harmful portrayal of women in popular American culture perpetuates the marginalization of women in our society. Cinderella is a film that American children watch from a very young age and the ideas it presents about women start to curate the way this young audience thinks about themselves or the opposite sex early in life. My desire to further research this topic stems from my curiosity on how putting these ideas into the brains of young people reflect the the disadvantages that adult women face in the workforce, the domestic expectations placed upon them, and how they are discussed by the media. I plan to explore this in my research by first analyzing what problematic ideas about women are present in Cinderella, and how these ideas harm women in their adult lives. I will also supply research to support how learning harmful ideas and standards at a young age affect people in their adult lives. I think this is incredibly important because women face a lot of unnecessary pressure and challenges today that wouldn’t be so if we learned from our history. I believe that the largest contribution to the perpetuation of harmful ideals is the media that we begin to consume as children.

The Text I will be writing about in essay #3 will be A film called  “A Silent Voice (Koe no katachi).” Thesis statement:  Emotional violence and verbal assaults towards an individual lead  to a person’s self-distraction and suicidal thoughts. Bullying aspects are much more dangerous than it may seem from the first time.

This film displays struggles one can have in a real world basis. A silent voice tells a story where the main protagonist is bullying a girl for being deaf. Nishymiya is deaf and is unable to communicate verbally, which impacts her ability to make new friends at the school. A silent voice is not only about a boy who bullies a deaf girl and a deaf girl, rather the realities that a a deaf person or a person in general can have such as depression, suicide, self isolation, bullying and other social problems teens may encounter i their adolescent life. In this essay I hope to address these problems teens go through whether being deaf or not. This movie touched me deeply because I am able to relate to it due to my past of being bullied and other aspects of bullying that i may have not experienced and would love to know so i can help a younger family member if they ever have to deal with a different type of bullying they may be going through. The meaning behind  the thesis i came up with comes from the movie and from my own personal experience.Where becoming self-distracted and suicide can be the result of being bullied. I plan to watch the movie again, break down and analyze the movie. Watching the movie will not only refresh my memory but it will allow me to see the main reasons what Emotional violence and verbal assaults towards an individual lead to

The text I have chosen to write my analytical research paper on is actually a series called “When They See Us”. This series is about five young black teens, also known as “The Central Park Five”, who are wrongly accused of beating and sexually assaulting a white woman in Central Park. Throughout the series, it can be seen how these five boys get manipulated to give false confessions by the police. They end up admitting to a crime that they did not commit. My thesis for this analytical research paper will be “police brutality has negative effects on the lives of people of color and police tend to abuse their power when it comes to black people”. In my essay, I hope to show the struggles that people of color have faced in America because of the police and the way that they are viewed by society. This series inspired my desire for further research because it shows the unfairness and the injustices that people of color face on a normal basis because of their skin color. In addition, situations like the one in the series still tend to happen to this day. I came up with my thesis because police brutality, manipulation, and abuse of power are common themes that pop up in the series. It is the reason why the boys go to prison and get accused of the crime. I hope to explore the statement in my research by looking for other events, during present times or throughout history, where people of color have gone through the same experiences as the Central Park Five”.

My Chosen text will be The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennet. Thesis Statement: In a world that favors white people, and leaves black people feeling oppressed it is clear to see why many mixed-raced people struggle with their racial identity.

In my essay, I hope to show the struggle many mixed-race people face (specifically half black/half white) in not only America but the world. How many of them struggle to accept themselves. Not knowing whether people will accept them for being two different races. Some people will even claim they are not of either race. What I hope to accomplish in my essay is to be able to show people that mixed-race people are two races, that they can identify as whatever race they choose and can identify as both races. I want to show that they understand each prospective race issues. I desired more research because during the Black Lives Matter movement many people claimed that people who were both black and white didn’t understand the struggle “full” black people faced and are still facing. I came up with this thesis because I wanted to dive deeper into the oppression and stereotypes many mixed-raced people are facing. I came up with the thesis because in my essay I want to show that mixed-raced people have their own battles that many of us do not understand. It’s important because I feel like people don’t fully accept them and they struggle to accept themselves. I plan to explore by researching in areas like Hollywood and their part in accepting half black/half white but not fully accepting just one raced black people. Also, the prejudices that mixed-race people face in their lives and their own prejudices toward themselves. I also want to dig into the history behind the stereotypes of mixed-race people and how it all started.
